Product families 646, 647, 648 and 649 include hinges for doors and gates weighing 20 to wide variety of wide variety of functions, designs and finishes.
The hinges of families 646, 647 and 648 have all been designed by Adler and benefit from successive patents for more than 30 years - the last being awarded in 2006 - which protect their exclusive and extraordinarily powerful self-closing mechanisms.
They are produced in France and offer the best quality/price ratio.
All the self-closing hinges have undergone strength and endurance testing.
Generally speaking, the conditions of the endurance tests performed by ADLER are primarily: the rated load indicated; 200,000 forced door operating cycles over ±70 % of the hinge's total operating range; 20 cycles per minute.
The ISODOUCHE, SALOON and SUPER SALOON hinges and now the entire family of CAPSI hinges guarantee an equally high-performance self-closing function after 200,000 opening/closing cycles.
Depending on the model, they can advantageously be recommended for a variety of applications: (a) shower; (b) separation door; (c) gate (counter, …); (d) showcase; (e) safety gate (swimming pool, …).
The principle for installing glass panels in ADLER hinges prevents any loosening over time and thus does require periodic retightening. Original tightening principles were developed for the family of CAPSI hinges that allow the parts to be extensively miniaturised allowing them to add transparency to your installations.

 

 
Self-closing and latching functions
The hinge opens 90° on either side of its natural closed position. The self-closing feature operates around ±45° positions and returns the door based on its starting point toward one of the stopping areas (roughly 5°) around 3 positions: -90°, 0° or +90°. Mechanism patented by ADLER SAS.

The hinge's natural closed position, designed ideally at 0°, is continually adjustable over the entire opening range ±90°. Around this position and adjusted position, the door's automatic self-closing feature takes place in a range beyond ±30°, with closing precision in the order of 0.1° ("the millimetre at the end of the door" ) and fast (3 to 4 seconds, practically without oscillation). Proven endurance to 200,000 cycles under maximum load. Mechanism patented by ADLER SAS.
