When the mirror is very well electrically insulated, it can be charged through a phenomenon known as stray capacitance. To avoid this, an anti-static disc should be bonded to the back of the mirror. If the silvering is protected by plastic film, this protection must be removed locally before the disc is affixed. Adhesive surface 50 x 50 mm + 20 mm connector + green and yellow earth lead.
